Delete your data

You can wipe parts of the data Questify stores about you without closing your account — useful if you want to start a new path from scratch, drop your journal, or remove specific events without losing your login. We process every request manually within 30 days.

How to request a partial wipe

1. Email [email protected] from the address tied to your Questify account.
2. Use the subject line: Delete my Questify data.
3. In the body, include your username (or Google email) and list which categories you want wiped — pick from:
   • Active questline (goal, survey answers, quests, completions)
   • Notes, reflections and mood logs
   • Saved insights and collection
   • Analytics events (tab switches, screen views, quest opens/closes)
   • Anything else specific you want removed
4. We'll confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the wipe within 30 days. Your account itself stays — you can keep logging in.

If you want everything gone, including the login itself, use the full account-deletion flow instead.

What is retained even after a wipe

Some records may persist for a limited period after a partial wipe, because the law requires it or because they're already aggregated:

• Payment records (if you bought a Play subscription) — kept for the period required by tax / accounting regulations.
• Anonymised, aggregated metrics that cannot be tied back to you (e.g. «N quests completed today across all users»).
• Server logs with IP addresses — rotated out automatically within 30 days.
• The basic account row (username, hashed password, linked Google identifier, email) so you can keep logging in — if you want that gone too, use the full account-deletion page.
