Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Questify account and everything associated with it. We process every request manually within 30 days; nothing is hidden behind a paywall or a customer-retention funnel.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to [email protected] from the address tied to your Questify account.
2. Use the subject line: Delete my Questify account.
3. In the body, include the username you signed up with (or the email you used to sign in with Google). If you remember neither, write anything that identifies your account — the goal you were working on, approximate sign-up date, etc.
4. We'll confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When the request is processed, we erase:

• Your account (username, hashed password, linked Google identifier, email).
• Your goal, intake-survey answers, and active questline.
• All quests we generated for you, completions, rerolls, skips and abandons.
• Notes, mood logs, reflections and saved insights.
• Settings (language, reminders, theme).
• Analytics events tied to your account.

What may be retained

A small set of records may persist for a limited period after deletion, only because the law requires it:

• Payment records (when you bought a subscription via Google Play) — kept for the period required by tax / accounting regulations.
• Anonymised, aggregated usage metrics that cannot be tied back to you (e.g. «N quests completed today across all users»).
• Server logs containing IP addresses — kept for up to 30 days for security/debugging, then automatically rotated out.

What about Google Play subscriptions?

Deleting your Questify account does not automatically cancel an active Play subscription. To cancel billing:

• On Android: Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Questify → Cancel.
• Or visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

Cancel before requesting deletion if you don't want to be re-billed during the 30-day processing window.
