Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Questify (the “Service”) — the mobile and web app that generates and tracks personalised daily quests using AI. By creating an account or signing in with Google you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Questify lets you describe a goal or identity, answer a short intake survey, and receive AI-generated quests, reflections, and progress tracking. Some features (advanced AI, extra quest types, longer history) may require a paid subscription.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA / UK) to use the Service.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account.
• One account per person. Don't impersonate anyone or sign up with a fake identity.
• We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, that have been inactive for long periods, or that are used to abuse the AI infrastructure.

3. AI-generated content

Quests, hints, reflections and reading material are produced by large language models. We make a good-faith effort to make them useful, but:

• The AI can be wrong, biased, or out of date.
• Quests are not medical, legal, financial, psychological, or safety advice.
• If a quest involves exercise, diet, money decisions, mental-health work, or anything that could harm you, use your own judgement and consult a qualified professional first.
• You're responsible for the goals you set and how you act on the quests we generate.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that's illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that targets a real person with harassment.
• Attempt to extract the underlying prompts, jailbreak the model, or use the Service to train a competing model.
• Scrape, automate, or hammer the API beyond reasonable personal use.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
• Resell or sublicense the Service or use it on behalf of third parties without our written permission.

5. Your content

Goals, survey answers, notes, reflections and quest history that you create stay yours. By submitting them you grant us a limited licence to store them, process them (including sending them to our AI provider for inference), and display them back to you. We don't sell your content and we don't use it to train third-party models.

6. Subscriptions, payments & refunds

• Paid plans are billed through Google Play (and, when available, the Apple App Store). Their billing terms apply on top of ours.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel through the store before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled by the store you bought through (Google Play / App Store) — we can't issue them directly.
• We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice. Existing periods you've already paid for aren't affected.

7. Service availability

Questify is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it running, but we don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that any specific quest type or feature will keep existing. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

8. Termination

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users or to the infrastructure. On termination, paid time you've already used isn't refunded; data is removed in line with the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Questify and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, for lost profits or data, or for outcomes caused by following AI-generated quests. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 — whichever is greater.

10. Changes to these Terms

We can update these Terms. When changes are material, we'll notify you in-app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the new Terms become effective means you accept them.
